General Information:

Eggo Gold is a stand out male. Full bone, heavily fleeced with delicious handle, Eggo has proven himself in and out of the show ring.

Eggo Gold is the prodigy of one of North America’s best and well-known herdsires – 4Peruvian Altiplano Gold; a stud that top farms based their breeding programs on. Eggo is well on his way to following his father’s footsteps. His first cria hit the ground in the summer of 2005 and we are very excited about this next generation.

Proud stance, supreme fiber, genetic excellence and a gentleman on a lead, Eggo Gold has made his impact in the show ring and now writing his legacy through his offspring. Got Gold?

We are proud to announce that a breeding to Eggo will be auctioned off at the VAOBA EXPO 2007.

Eggo is co-owned with The Alpaca Garden

Stud Fee:$1,500

An Eggo Progeny, Miss Sandra Dee

I recieved an email from an owner of an Eggo progeny. Theresa Reyes-Stassel owns Hagen Heights Alpaca Farm in Pine Bush, New York. She sent some gorgeous photos of Miss Sandra Dee and wrote

"We own an offspring of Eggo Gold, see our listing for Miss Sandra Dee. She is looking really good at this point. I just uploaded new photos of her. She exhibits many of the traits such as heavy bone that Eggo has. We live relatively close to Stone Ridge Farm and are familiar with Eggo. You might want to consider adding a progeny link to our listing for Eggo, so people can see the quality of fleece and form of his cria."

Below is what Theresa Reyes-Stassel of Hagen Heights Alpaca Farm says about Sandra Dee on their alpacanation page. (copied with permission from Theresa)

Born to our Miss Manda THA , daughter of the famous Accoyo Augusto, and Aoba Nationals Composite winning son of 4Peruvian Altiplano Gold , Chase Tavern Eggo Gold , on June 11th. 19.1 lb.
Miss Sandra Dee is a fine fibered, lt. champagne colored, beauty. She has a unique lt.fawn fading to white fleece. She is the tallest cria born on the farm this year, and is keeping up with the much older cria. She has a lovely fibered chisled and delicate face, the lovely face of her dam, and is large boned and elegant.

Best of all is her fleece, which exhibits brightness and architecture ,crimpy, and oh so fine! It is very bright and her staple length for a cria is very nice. Very good density for such fineness. She has balance and correct proportions with nice straight ,strong legs with correct angulation.

Her lineage is stellar and we expect she will carry the fine characteristics of both her dam, whose sire's(Accoyo Augusto's book is closed to outside breedings, and her sire who is out of the Altiplano Gold line. IGG 1493 taken at three days post-partum.PCR neg for BVD. Mis Sandra is taking well to her halter training and enjoys walks on our property. She has a gentle yet inquisitve temperament.
Price includes an additional breeding to our herdsires when she is of age, we would suggest our newest herdsire - SCF Sunsplash, Firethorn, or Don Hidalgo!
